It means that even in case of unbalanced loads the output voltage is always under control on each phase and this prevents the risk to have high voltages on the phases with low load applied which could damage the load itself
- due to the fact that the AVRs are digital, they manage several protections in addition to the standard protections on the electrical panel, like: overtemperature, unbalance loads, underfrequency, overload, shortcircuit
