Wet scrubber for biogas and landfill gas 1000m3/h

Wet scrubbers are an effective technology used to remove a wide range of contaminants from process gas streams. This includes particulates, acid gases and organic contaminants. Examples of acid gases include sulfur dioxide (SO2), hydrogen chloride (HCl) and hydrogen fluoride (HF), while examples of organic gases may include odorous compounds such as methyl mercaptan (CH3S) or ethanol (C2H5OR SO).

A packed tower scrubber is an upward-flowing vertical device in which the gas stream flows countercurrently to the absorbing liquid. Packed tower scrubbers have a layer inside the vessel that is designed to improve contact with the contaminated gases. This material is wetted by a distribution nozzle located above the media bed. Tower scrubbers have excellent removal efficiency.
